Had an amazing time yesterday with the kids @ SIP Home and Child Home. Most joyful Diwali I've celebrated recently. Million thanks to Sevai Karangal/Thilak, who not only bought smiles on the kids but also on me.

Will share the pics and videos shortly.

Dear Member,

It was a happiest day for many both the members and the inmates of the homes celebrating Diwali.

All the dresses, crackers, sweets snacks were delivered to the homes 3 days prior to Diwali. We also exchanged the dress which didn’t fit few of the kids.

On the day of Diwali we divided into groups and went to all the homes to which we have sponsored for the festival.

we shared food with them...

We bursted the crackers

Few of the volunteers sponsored for dress were few bought sweets, crackers, etc.

Happy to see the kids enjoyed our company and we enjoyed theirs. Thanks for all the volunteers for making this happen.

We will be sharing the account details in couple of days.

It was fun celebrating Diwali with Kids.  We thank all the members who supported for the good cause.

Now here comes the account summary.

We received Rs. 28100/- from members via online transfer.

Vadivel took responsibility for Nalmanam helped to generate a huge fund.

Guru from his part took responsibility of Udavum Nanbargal Illam.

Palani exploration team had donated the balance amount towards the cause.

Thanks to Nachiappan friend of Vadivel helped us purchasing crackers at a very less cost.

Sathya one of our member donated some crackers.

We were able to save some amount in dress as we got a wholesale vendor who offered in very less cost.  We didn’t buy dress for Udavum Nanbargal as it was provided by one of their sponsor. It was a request from them to give the dress amount towards construction of boy’s hostel.

We have a balance of Rs. 45513/- which will be given towards the construction of Toilet block.  We have a balance of Rs.14,000/- collected through contributions from past social treks. Even this amount will be given to the same cause.

Total cost to build the toilet is Rs.60,000/- and it will be completely sponsored by CTC. The block will be named after CTC. By this CTC will provide a proper sanitation for the home. And of course it is another mile stone in CTC’s social angle.

List of members who donated towards the cause.
